[2027 GMAP 동계인턴십] Software and Electronics_Software Engineer

Job Description Work Arrangement ​​ - The successful candidate is expected to report to GM Asia Pacific HQ, located in Bupyeong, Incheon, on a full-time basis.

The Role - Write real code that powers our connected vehicle software platform (GMAP). You'll develop, test, and ship features alongside experienced developers, learning GM's software development practices along the way. You will validate vehicle systems and software across bench and in-vehicle environments while developing efficient, scalable test automation tools.

• Write, test, and debug application software code
• Collaborate with the development team on new feature builds
• Participate in code reviews and day-to-day agile team activities
• Learn GM's software development lifecycle, tools, and best practices
• Validate vehicle system behavior on benches and in vehicles through software and system testing.
• Build and improve automated test scripts and tools for functional, integration, and regression testing.
• Analyze test results and logs, document defects, and support issue resolution with experienced engineers.

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications) -

• Education: Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited four-year university, or expected to earn one by February 2027.
• GPA: A cumulative GPA of B or higher, or at least 3.0 on a 4.5 scale.
• Major: Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• English proficiency: TOEIC score of 750 or higher.
• Equivalent scores accepted: OPIc IM2 or higher, or TOEIC Speaking score of 130 or higher.
• TOEIC score submission is waived for graduates of, or candidates expected to graduate from, universities outside Korea.
• Availability: Able to participate in the internship on a full-time basis throughout the internship period.
• In accordance with applicable laws, preference may be given to persons of national merit and other individuals eligible for employment protection.
