We collect the personal data needed to run your job search — contact details, your résumé, and basic usage data — and use it to find and score job matches for you. We never sell your personal data, and we never share your résumé or profile with employers or other third parties. Your résumé's extracted contact details are stored encrypted, not as plain text. You can request deletion at any time.

We are the "data controller" for the personal data we collect through the Platform.

Contact information: name, email address, and any phone number you provide.

Résumé & professional details: the résumé you upload, the role preferences, locations, and seniority range you set as your Focus, and — if you provide one, either extracted from your résumé or entered directly — your LinkedIn profile URL.

Usage data: product-activity events (page views, actions taken, API request outcomes) used for diagnosing problems and improving the Platform — retained for approximately 30 days on a rolling basis.

Cookies: essential cookies for authentication and preferences. See our Cookie Preferences page for details.

Billing data: subscription and payment details, processed by our payment provider (Stripe) — we do not store your full payment card details ourselves.

Account setup & delivery of the Service: to create your account, match jobs to your résumé, and deliver your weekly digest.

AI-assisted matching & scoring: we use AI/algorithmic tools to screen job postings against your résumé and generate a fit score and explanation. This is a decision-support tool for you — it does not make any automated decision that has a legal or similarly significant effect on you, and no employer sees this scoring, since we do not share your profile with employers.

Communications: to send your digest emails, account notices, and respond to support requests. You can opt out of non-essential communications at any time.

Security & compliance: to protect the Platform from misuse and meet our legal obligations.

Contract: processing needed to provide the Service you signed up for (matching, digest delivery, billing).

Legitimate interests: improving and securing the Platform, in a way that's proportionate and balanced against your rights.

Consent: for optional communications, which you can withdraw at any time.

Legal obligation: where we must retain or disclose data to comply with the law.

Contact details extracted from your résumé are stored in an encrypted envelope — each record is encrypted with its own randomly generated key, and that key is itself encrypted under a master key held outside the database. A database-only breach yields ciphertext, not readable personal data. Deleting your résumé deletes its associated encrypted contact-data record.

We share limited data only with the service providers needed to operate the Platform (payment processing, authentication, email delivery, hosting, and AI processing) — see our Data Sharing Agreement for the full list. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share your résumé or profile with employers, recruiters, or other Platform users.

Account and résumé data is retained while your account is active. Product-usage activity logs are retained for approximately 30 days on a rolling basis and then automatically removed. You may request full account and data deletion at any time.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to object to certain processing. You can exercise these rights from your account settings, or by contacting us.

The Platform is not directed at, and is not intended for use by, anyone under 18 years old, consistent with the age requirement in our Job Seeker Terms.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or a notice on the Platform before they take effect.
