[2027 GMTCK 동계인턴십] Body, Exterior, Chassis and After Service Engineering

Design release work across body, exterior, and chassis systems at GM Technical Center Korea, integrating advanced components with CAE, manufacturing, and validation teams during a 10-week winter internship.
Job Description Work Arrangement - The successful candidate is expected to report to GM Technical Center Korea, located in Bupyeong, Incheon, on a full-time basis.
The Role - Design Release Engineer for
- Body : Body Structure, Body Closures (Side Door, Fender, Hood, Liftgate)
- Exterior : Exterior Lamps, Bumper & Grille, Trims, Wiper, Glass
- Chassis : Suspension, PT Mount, Wheel & Tire, Brake, Driveline and Steering
What You’ll Do -
- Engineer and integrate advanced Body, Exterior, and Chassis components
- Lead collaboration across CAE, Manufacturing, Quality, and Validation teams
- Apply the latest technologies to enhance performance and craftsmanship
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications) -
- Education: Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited four-year university, or expected to earn one by February 2027.
- GPA: A cumulative GPA of B or higher, or at least 3.0 on a 4.5 scale.
- Major: A STEM-related field, such as Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, and Materials Science
- English proficiency: TOEIC score of 750 or higher.
- Equivalent scores accepted: OPIc IM2 or higher, or TOEIC Speaking score of 130 or higher.
- TOEIC score submission is waived for graduates of, or candidates expected to graduate from, universities outside Korea.
- Availability: Able to participate in the internship on a full-time basis throughout the internship period.
- In accordance with applicable laws, preference may be given to persons of national merit and other individuals eligible for employment protection.

- Ability to use UG-NX and 3D math modeling tools
- Automotive industry experience
- Those who have participated in automotive-related academic-industry projects or symposiums
- Individuals with leadership experience
