Shape real vehicle components, from seats and safety restraints to HVAC and electrification systems, on a 10-week GM Korea winter internship with a path to full-time conversion.
Work Arrangement - The successful candidate is expected to report to GM Technical Center Korea, located in Bupyeong, Incheon, on a full-time basis.
The Role - As a Design Release Engineer (DRE) , you will design, develop, and release components for Interior Trim, Seat/Safety Restraint, Thermal Propulsion Integration, or Energy Conversion Systems (ECS). Collaborating with global teams and suppliers, you will balance customer requirements, packaging, performance, safety, compliance, quality, cost, and timing while supporting manufacturability, validation, technical issue resolution, and continuous improvement through launch.
