Analyst, Demand Forecasting - Control Tower

The Role General Motors Customer Care & Aftersales (CCA) is seeking an experienced and analytical Demand Forecasting Analyst to support its Control Tower operation, providing centralized monitoring, rapid assessment, and forecast decision-making for critical, high-visibility service parts. This role will identify emerging demand, supply, inventory, quality, and operational risks; prioritize issues based on business and customer impact; and coordinate timely cross-functional actions through resolution.

This role serves as a key link between forecasting, inventory planning, supplier management, logistics, and operations. The successful candidate will translate customer demand signals, supply chain challenges, and business risks into actionable forecast decisions that support customer service, inventory health, and supply continuity. Success in this role requires strong business judgment, the ability to make decisions in ambiguous situations, and a sense of urgency when managing issues that require immediate action. The individual will serve as a forecasting advocate across the organization, communicating impacts, recommendations, and required actions while building alignment among cross-functional stakeholders.
