Bachelor/Master Internship or Graduation Assignment: Marketing Communication

Job description The European Green Claims Directive will introduce new requirements governing how environmental and sustainability claims are communicated to customers. To support DAF's preparation and compliance, we are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented intern to assist with a pan-European review of Marketing & Sales communications. The primary objective of this project is to create a comprehensive overview of all relevant customer-facing communications currently in use across DAF Headquarters, Subsidiaries and Dealer networks. This includes presentations, brochures, websites, social media content, product literature, sales tools and other marketing materials that contain environmental or sustainability-related claims. Key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting a full audit of existing Marketing & Sales communication materials across HQ, Subsidiaries and Dealers.
• Reviewing communications against Green Claims Directive requirements and identifying areas requiring amendment or further substantiation.
• Creating and maintaining an inventory of environmental and sustainability claims currently used within the organisation.
• Liaising with stakeholders across Marketing, Sales, Legal, Product Development and Sustainability teams.
• Supporting the correction, updating and standardisation of existing communication materials.
• Developing practical guidelines, templates and best practices for the creation of compliant communications.
• Assisting in the implementation of a governance and approval process to ensure all future Marketing & Sales communications remain compliant with Green Claims legislation.
• Supporting project reporting and presenting findings and recommendations to management.
