Business Operations Specialist

Job Responsibilities :

The Business Operations Specialist is responsible for managing the day-to-day operational activities of assigned customer accounts, ensuring accurate order processing, timely fulfillment, inventory coordination, and compliance with customer requirements.

This position works closely with Sales, Supply Planning, Logistics, overseas headquarters, third-party logistics (3PL) providers, carriers, and customers to support successful order execution and delivery. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and the effective use of technology, AI, and automation to improve operational efficiency.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Customer Account & Order Management

• Manage daily operational activities for assigned customer accounts, including order receipt, processing, validation, fulfillment, and delivery follow-up.
• Review incoming customer orders for accuracy, completeness, pricing, quantities, delivery requirements, and compliance with established procedures.
• Validate customer orders against approved supply allocations and escalate shortages or allocation discrepancies to Supply Planning.
• Communicate allocation outcomes and fulfillment updates to Sales and coordinate necessary order adjustments.
• Process order changes, cancellations, backorders, and other customer requests in accordance with established procedures.
• Maintain accurate order records and transaction data in SAP and applicable customer systems.
