Key job responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive analysis of tax reporting data across multiple jurisdictions, identifying data quality issues and recommending solutions to improve accuracy and reliability
• Design and contribute to the implementation of scalable tax technology solutions that enhance our reporting and compliance capabilities
• Partner with tax and business teams to understand process challenges, then translate those needs into functional requirements for technical development and system improvements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including tax specialists, business partners, and engineers to deliver integrated solutions that drive efficiency
• Develop and maintain metrics that measure the impact and value of tax data initiatives, providing visibility into process improvements and system performance

A day in the life As a Data Analyst focused on State and Local Tax compliance, you'll dive into tax reporting data to uncover insights that drive better decision-making across our organization. You might start your day analyzing data quality issues in a specific tax jurisdiction, then collaborate with our tax and engineering teams to define requirements for a new reporting feature. You'll work with colleagues to understand their pain points in current processes, then translate those insights into data-driven solutions. Your work bridges the gap between our tax experts and our technical teams, ensuring everyone has the information they need to do their best work.
