Data Scientist, Trust and Safety Analytics

Build the controls and detections that protect Etsy's marketplace from emerging abuse, partnering with Operations and Product Engineering to design new controls as risks evolve.
We are looking for a Data Scientist in Trust and Safety Analytics focused in Detection and Enforcement identifying and mitigating potential risks on the platform. If you are passionate about recognizing patterns, generating insights, and moving toward solutions for risk prevention, this is a great opportunity for you.
As a Data Scientist in Trust and Safety, you will proactively identify marketplace risks and help remediate them by optimizing our controls program. If you find joy in a fast-paced environment, learn quickly, possess analytics experience, and have deep Trust & Safety domain knowledge, this could be the perfect match!
This is a full-time position reporting to the Manager, Trust and Safety Analytics.
