Decision Analyst

Own the accuracy and robustness of the core decisioning models running live in Forter's e-commerce fraud system that protects hundreds of millions of consumers.
As a Decision Analyst at Forter, you will own one of the company’s most critical assets: the accuracy, robustness, and performance of what is widely recognized as the leading e-commerce fraud decisioning system in the industry.
You will be expected to think creatively and push boundaries, constantly improving how we identify fraud and protect legitimate customers. You will design logical and technical solutions to real, constantly evolving challenges faced by some of the world’s largest online retailers. Your work will operate at the intersection of deep data research, real-time production decisioning systems, and real-world impact.
This position has strong technical and analytical depth, but you don’t need prior coding experience. With agentic tools like Claude Code and our structured training, candidates that are a strong fit can close any technical gaps quickly. We hire across multiple levels and adjust the scope and level of ownership based on what we learn during the interview process.
You will join Forter’s Decision Science and Analytics department, a high-bar, fast-moving group with a strong culture of excellence, curiosity, and ownership.
