Own electrical utilities for multiple vehicle plants in Fremont, serving as the subject matter expert across design, shutdowns, and commissioning for 24/7 manufacturing.
Tesla is seeking a highly motivated Electrical Engineer to support multiple vehicle manufacturing sites in the Fremont/ Bay area. The Fremont operations team drives to operate and maintain the factory of the future by overseeing the design, implementation, maintenance and operation of cutting-edge large-scale equipment and utility systems in support of highly innovative manufacturing processes. This individual will be the electrical subject matter expert supporting projects related to plant utilities, representing the Plant Operations team during all stages of the project.
The ideal candidate takes pride in their hands-on work, analytical ability, organizational skills, and attention to detail. They appreciate an environment where innovative and high-quality work is encouraged, noticed, and rewarded and where individuals carry tremendous responsibility. They are an excellent cross-team communicator, with a knack for understanding high, medium, and low voltage distribution and protection systems that support a 24/7 manufacturing operation.
