Own global sourcing and cost strategy for the cable harnesses powering Agility Robotics' humanoid platforms as production volumes scale.

As a Global Supply Manager – Cable Harnesses , you will own the sourcing and commodity strategy for cable harnesses, wire assemblies, and interconnect components supporting Agility Robotics' humanoid platforms. You will ensure supply assurance, cost competitiveness, and scalability across development and production phases for this commodity.

This is a senior, individually-owned commodity role. You will partner closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, and the broader GSM team to influence design decisions, qualify harness suppliers, and build a resilient supply base as production volumes scale.

  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies for cable harnesses, wire assemblies, and interconnect components.
  • Collaborate with Engineering to influence harness design, connector selection, and manufacturability.
  • Lead supplier identification, selection, and qualification for harness and cable assembly suppliers globally.
  • Build and maintain supplier relationships, driving continuous improvement in cost, quality, and delivery.
  • Champion cost modeling and should-cost analysis to establish pricing transparency and drive competitive pricing.
  • Negotiate supplier agreements covering pricing, terms, quality standards, and delivery performance.
  • Drive cost-reduction and value-engineering initiatives through design optimization and sourcing leverage.
  • Support New Product Introduction (NPI) by ensuring harness components are sourced and ready in line with program schedules.
  • Maintain the supplier plan of record (SPOR) for cable harnesses and monitor supplier performance across cost, quality, and delivery.
  • Develop and maintain supply risk assessments and dual-sourcing strategies for critical harness suppliers.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering — required, not substitutable with a general business or supply chain degree.
  • 5+ years of procurement or supply-chain experience, with at least 3+ years focused specifically on cable harnesses, wire assemblies, or interconnect components.
  • Strong technical understanding of harness manufacturing processes (crimping, molding, testing) and the ability to read wiring diagrams, connector specs, and DFM requirements independently.
  • Proven experience managing global harness and cable assembly suppliers and contract manufacturers — this is a senior commodity ownership role, not an entry-level position.
  • Deep experience in should-cost analysis and cost modeling for harness/cable commodities.
  • Familiarity with NPI processes and engineering collaboration in a product development environment.
  • Skilled in negotiation, supplier performance management, and long-term strategic sourcing.
  • Experience using MRP/ERP systems and supplier management tools.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required (up to 25%).
  • This is a hybrid position based out of our Fremont office.
