Position Summary We are seeking a Manager, Data Engineer to join our Retail Resource Center’s Innovation team. This role sits at the intersection of data analysis, BI development, and data engineering — you'll spend roughly equal time analyzing data to answer business questions leveraging SQL, building and maintaining Data Visualization dashboards such as Power BI, and building/maintaining the pipelines and data models (primarily in GCP, Snowflake and BigQuery) that feed both.
The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience and is passionate about turning data into actionable insights — someone who enjoys solving business challenges, building meaningful reporting tools, and helping leaders make data-driven decisions. This position will partner closely with stakeholders throughout the organization as well as other analysts and engineers on the team.
We're increasingly building AI capabilities into our analytics workflows, and this role will help shape that. You'll use AI-assisted tools to accelerate analysis and development, and help evaluate where AI/LLM-based approaches (e.g., natural language querying, automated insight generation, anomaly detection) can add value for the business.
