Position: Manager, Women’s & Newborn Health (Short-Term 6 months)

Position Summary This short-term Manager position sits within the Newborn Health subteam of the Programs Team on global Women’s & Newborn Health (WNH). The Manager will collaborate with global stakeholders to problem-solve market barriers and increase access to critical life-saving newborn care interventions. The Manager will work with relevant team members focused on newborn health access in countries, as well as CHAI’s market-shaping, clinical, and M&E/research teams. The ideal candidate has strong analytical, writing and storytelling, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills, and can develop strategic insights from diverse country contexts into compelling, visual presentations for senior decision-makers. The role requires independence, ability to balance multiple priorities, and effective collaboration across stakeholders. The position reports to the Director of the Programs Team within the WNH Team while the Newborn Health Senior Program Manager is on leave. Base location can be the US or a CHAI program country in Africa, pending Country Director approval.
