Per Diem Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (Casual Employee) - San Mateo

Care for a broad mix of acute, chronic, and well-visit patients across in-office and telehealth settings at One Medical's San Mateo office, without building a panel.
- Per diem, hourly clinician role
- Considered Casual employment
- 8-23 patient care hours per week
What you'll be working on:
- Seeing patients with a broad array of patient needs; conducting a mix of acute, chronic, and well visits (not a panel-building role)
- Treating patients in-office as well as conducting occasional tele-health visits
- Willing to obtain additional state licensure and credentialing for One Medical virtual primary care in additional states
One Medical clinicians also demonstrate:
- Completed an accredited NP or PA program with a national certification
- In the past 5 years, practiced as an Advanced Practitioner for at least:
- 2 years in an outpatient primary care setting, OR
- 1 year in an outpatient primary care setting, coupled with either a 1 year primary care fellowship or 1+ year in an urgent care setting
- State licensed in CA, obtained by your One Medical start date
- Malpractice Insurance - Malpractice fees to insure your practice at One Medical is covered 100%
- One Medical Issued laptop (to allow for secure access to our EHR)
- Sick Time PTO eligible in accordance with CA and local requirements
This is an hourly role supportting our Bay Meadows office in San Mateo and other nearby offices.
The hourly rate for this role is $96.00. Final determination of starting pay may vary based on factors such as practice experience and patient care schedule. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates that exceed these specified qualifications and requirements. The total compensation package for this position may also include benefits.
