Principal Scientific Developer

The Role As a Senior ML Algorithm Developer, you will play a pivotal role in developing innovative machine learning algorithms and data-driven models for the next generation of AspenTech’s subsurface and engineering solutions. We are seeking a sharp, disciplined, and highly quantitative individual with a passion for working with complex data and cutting-edge technologies, leveraging your expertise in machine learning to design, develop and enhance core algorithms for oil and gas industry. This position presents unique challenges, including the adoption of machine learning methodologies for subsurface data, handling extremely large datasets, and optimizing parallel computing, all within a collaborative environment where team members share knowledge and work on joint projects. The role will leverage the capabilities of AI tools to enhance development efficiency, accelerate innovation, and address complex technical challenges.

Your Impact

• Design and develop machine learning algorithms in the geophysical domain.
• Research and evaluate advanced machine learning approaches and emerging technologies.
• Optimize code for runtime acceleration of large-scale jobs (HPC).
• Work in collaboration with various teams in R&D, Testing and Product.
