Principal Specialist, AI Security

Shape how a 130-country hearing care leader secures LLM apps, copilots and agentic workflows, from threat modelling to governing shadow AI.

This role exists to make secure AI adoption possible — providing the hands-on technical capability that lets WSA innovate with AI at speed, inside guardrails, with risks visible and governed through the GRC operating model. What you will do
- Threat modelling, design reviews and testing of LLM applications, copilots and agentic workflows, working directly with the teams building them.
- Maintain AI security standards and secure-by-default patterns, and run intake and risk assessment for new AI initiatives.
- Operate AI security controls across the Microsoft stack, and detect and govern shadow AI and ungoverned agents.
- Feed AI risk into the GRC operating model and report it clearly to CISO office leadership.
- Train developers and AI agent builders, and keep the organisation current on the AI threat and regulatory landscape.
What you bring
- 10+ years in information security, with recent, hands-on experience securing AI systems (LLM applications, GenAI, copilots or agentic AI).
- Practical experience threat modelling, reviewing and testing AI applications with development teams.
- Hands-on with Microsoft security controls: Defender, Defender for Cloud Apps, Purview, Entra, Copilot Studio / Power Platform.
- Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, AI/ML or a related field; CISSP or equivalent (ISO/IEC 42001, IAPP AIGP a plus).
