Program Manager, OPEX Facilities Business Operations

What to Expect Tesla is seeking a Program Manager – Business Operations with relevant experience in the construction/facilities industry to support the buildout and operations of Tesla’s facilities and infrastructure. This position will be directly responsible for working on cost optimization/controls, commercial agreement reviews, cost analysis, and driving operational efficiencies throughout the various project stages. They will act as a liaison between internal and external teams to drive overall targets and objectives. What You’ll Do

• Review vendor agreements to identify gaps and propose techniques for risk mitigation, cost savings, compliance, and other improvements
• Develop scope understanding, address gaps to improve efficiency and reduce costs, set clear goals, and oversee execution
• Analyze spend and operational data, identify trends, and propose cost optimization opportunities with actionable visualizations
• Liaise with stakeholders to ensure adherence to processes and contract terms while aligning cost control efforts with leadership
• Assess and improve processes through data analysis and stakeholder feedback

What You’ll Bring

• Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
• Proven experience in contract reviews, commercial agreements, cost analysis, , cost control management, cost forecasting, financial reporting, and process improvement initiatives
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerBI, and other project management software
• Quick learner and adaptable, can pivot when needed to
• Understanding of OPEX services and expenditures
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively present financial data and insights to project teams and senior management
