What to Expect
Tesla is seeking a talented and driven Quality Systems Engineer to join our Energy Remanufacturing team in Buffalo, New York to assist in developing, implementing and maintaining quality systems. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled quality professional to make a meaningful impact within a dynamic and collaborative manufacturing environment. This position involves identifying inefficiencies across the business and be responsible for implementation of technical solutions by working closely with the Technical Program Manager. Your changes will have impact on the way people work. To be successful in your role, business stakeholders should be able to trust your expertise to suggest quantifiable solutions that will persist long after you move on to your next initiative.
What You'll Do
Contribute to the execution of the ISO 9001 audit plan for Energy Remanufacturing. Help drive cross-functional programs to implement changes in compliance to the Quality Management System and identify areas for improvement Support problem-solving by analyzing failure modes, driving timely corrective and preventive actions, and ensuring permanent resolution Manage multiple cross-functional action items while aligning stakeholder expectations and building consensus on changes Strong track record of training and developing teams, fostering a culture of quality awareness and accountability. Help drive quality KPIs, including SCAR cycle time metrics and other business operations related measurements Organize and schedule calibration requirements for monitoring and measuring devices Collaborate closely with the cross-functional teams to define functional and timeline requirements Thrive in and contribute to a collaborative work environment, working cross-functionally to achieve shared quality objectives Drive continual improvement of the Quality Systems
