Senior Compensation Business Partner

Roblox is seeking a Senior Compensation Business Partner supporting G&A, Design and Data Science functions who will be the subject matter expert and drive the broad-based and international compensation while ensuring Roblox's compensation is competitive, meaningful, performance-oriented, clearly communicated, and aligned with business priorities. This position is critical to delivering an exceptional portfolio of programs and services that inspire our employees.

• Be the primary compensation partner for the functions they support to recruiting teams, HRBPs and business unit leaders by combining in-depth knowledge of compensation principles, understanding of the business and market landscape
• Lead and develop innovative compensation strategies to support the attraction and retention of top talent while reflecting market conditions, internal equity, a strong pay for performance philosophy and the company's priorities
• Support and advice on comp related activities: new hire offers, analysis of recruiting data trends, promotions, transfers, international employees/contractors, performance calibrations & compensation, etc
• Work in a culture of continuous analytics and monitoring of current programs to find areas to improve and align with strategic priorities so that compensation is part of the proposition that can attract, engage, and retain top talent.
• Review and conduct annual benchmarking of US and international jobs to ensure a great compensation package ranges
• Help implement all ongoing compensation programs and tools; provide leaders with deep insights to guide sound compensation decisions.
• Continuously review the current job architecture and systematic job leveling approach for the business that enables us to better support hiring, career growth, job evaluation ultimately leading to great compensation packages
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with at least 8 years of corporate and/or consulting compensation-related experience ideally with some exposure to tech industry, showing progression and leadership
• Substantial knowledge of compensation fundamentals: job matching, market pricing, Leveling and Job Architecture, equity mechanics at private and public companies, cyclical programs, etc.
• Experience with Sales Compensation Design, familiarity with designing and rolling out commission plans and knowledge on how these plans work in the technology industry.
• Prior experience working with large amounts of data, utilizing strong analytical skills to interpret compensation trends and build intelligence through reporting, with high attention to data validity.
• Knowledge of industry trends and developments in compensation, including relevant legal issues
• Ability to influence cross functional stakeholders effectively. Collaborate with diverse teams, communicate complex information clearly and concisely to a variety of audiences, build strong relationships with stakeholders, and influence decision-making through data-driven insights and persuasive communication.
• Excellent communication and presentations skills, with the ability to effectively translate complex compensation concepts/models into digestible plans to the executives.
