Senior Developer, Trust Platforms

Join 1Password’s Trust & Identity Platforms team, where you’ll build the foundational services and developer tools that enable secure, privacy-focused product experiences. You’ll contribute to platforms spanning public key verification, identity, and confidential computing, helping make it easier for people and businesses to stay safer online.

This is a remote opportunity within Canada and the US.

What we're looking for:

• Bring 5+ years of professional software development experience in a production Software as a Service (SaaS) environment, including at least 1 year shipping production Rust code.
• Write idiomatic, asynchronous Rust in the Tokio ecosystem and work with the Rust Tower ecosystem.
• Build and maintain reliable server-side platform components and tools for other developers.
• Work effectively with Go, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Kubernetes, databases, and other cloud technologies.
• Apply a solid understanding of networking concepts, including Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP), Transmission Control Protocol (TCP), virtual sockets (vsock), and service meshes.
• Carry projects forward with autonomy while collaborating clearly with colleagues across teams.
• Bring a thoughtful approach to quality, detail, problem-solving, and continuous learning, with an interest in security, privacy, and cryptography.
