Generac Home is hiring a Senior Manager, Manufacturing Test Engineering. In this role you will lead Manufacturing Test organization responsible for manufacturing test strategy, automated test equipment, test software development, production data systems, engineering laboratories, and factory test deployment. This leader will be primarily working on Home product portfolio that involves our Solar & Storage, Interconnect Controls & PowerGen products.
You will lead and manage a multidisciplinary team of software developers, test engineers, designers, and technicians supporting PCBA Functional Test, End-of-Line (EOL) Test, Safety Test, and Run-In/Burn-In systems across internal and contract manufacturing sites.
Preferred location: Reno NV, (Santa Moncia OR Waukesha WI as options)
Essential Responsibilities:
Team Leadership
- Lead and develop a team of manufacturing test engineers, software developers, and designers.
- Establish organization strategy, technical roadmaps, staffing plans, and annual objectives.
- Manage departmental budgets, capital investments, contractors, and external suppliers.
- Drive a culture of technical excellence, innovation, safety, and continuous improvement.
