The Role: The Systems Architecture team in AutoStore has the overarching responsibility for guiding the development team HW and SW solutions to optimize the system performance. This responsibility bridges between the customer facing product management branch, and the technically oriented R&D teams to translate market requirements into technical product requirements while considering the overall system performance. This requires deep and broad insight into the AutoStore system, as well as available technologies. AutoStore is hiring a Senior Product Architect to join our Systems Architecture team. This group works with Product and Engineering leadership to ensure new product designs are feasible, worthwhile, and adhere to the long term technical roadmap of the overall system. We’d like to the successful candidate to have a background in mechanical/electromechanical engineering and to demonstrate significant business savvy. Key Tasks and Responsibilities: Partake in customer and partner meetings alongside Product Management to build firsthand insight into the challenges and use cases that need to be solved.
