Amazon has an immediate opening for an Accounting Transformation Program Manager to join our Payments Finance and Business Integration (FBI) team.
Amazon Payments collaborates with all Amazon strategic businesses (Stores, AWS, Digital, Devices & Services, Leo) to support their payments acceptance requirements. Payments FBI represents Accounting's interests in Amazon Payments strategic projects and product launches and directly influences its product launches and strategic architecture decisions. In this role, the candidate will be part of a team that collaborates with Product and Technical teams to deliver world class solutions that are highly scalable, secure, and flexible.
Strong oral and written communication skills are crucial, as well as ability to think clearly, analyze quantitatively, problem-solve, scope requirements and prioritize.
Key job responsibilities Successful candidates will have deep experience of Accounting, Program Management and Finance Systems and have operated successfully in a fast-paced, global, results-oriented environment. Strong oral and written communication skills are crucial, as well as ability to think clearly, analyze quantitatively, problem-solve, scope business requirements and prioritize. Candidate experience should cover financial processes, project management, accounting requirements documentation, process design, and test strategy and user acceptance testing responsibilities. Demonstrated experience in leading teams to accomplish unusually complex challenges is expected as this is an ongoing requirement for this position. Practical experience with implementing GenAI agentic solutions to automate processes will be beneficial.
