The most important story about any Apple application is data. As a Software Engineer of AiDP data services team, you will work on building database managed services and data streaming platform that power some of Apple’s most critical business use cases. You will collaborate with exceptional database engineering teams and internal stakeholders in building these solutions.
AI & Data Platforms (AiDP) is IS&T's engine for AI-powered innovation. The team brings together data, application development, and machine learning — including generative AI — along with data services and customer success functions, to help IS&T build solutions more efficiently and streamline the adoption and embedding of generative AI across Apple.
Description: We are looking for a passionate software engineer with experience in building cloud based data engineering solutions. We expect the candidate to influence platform tools, APIs and architecture. This role requires strong collaboration with internal teams to deliver a best in class product in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities: Cloud solutions: Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure and data engineering services
Develop services: Design and implement micro services and APIs, from system design through production deployment and operations
Collaboration: Collaborate with a team of database engineers and architects to develop the services
Minimum Qualifications: 6+ years of software development experience with Python/Go
Hands on experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP or AliCloud
