Our north star is that all movement of value on Roblox is tracked on the Ledger, and that every unit of value — virtual currency, fiat, or digital asset — is accurately tracked, perfectly balanced, and fully auditable. That makes the Ledger the trusted foundation for our users, creators, and economy.
We are the source of truth for the economy in both directions: every write of value, and every read of it. The same authoritative record that settles a transaction also has to answer the questions people ask about it — balances, history, statements, reconciliation, and analytics — so that read paths do not drift from the book of record. Robux already runs entirely on our zero-balanced, double-entry ledger, and Creator Wallets launch in December 2026. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will design, build, and scale the systems that make this true, in a domain where correctness is the product rather than a feature.
