Exciting opportunity to serve as the technical leader for Illumina's high-throughput sequencing platforms. The Senior Staff Product Technical Lead is responsible for driving platform health, lifecycle strategy, and cross-functional alignment to deliver exceptional customer experience, product quality, reliability, and business performance.
The Technical Lead serves as the primary integration point across R&D, Quality, Operations, Service, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Commercial organizations, translating customer, field, and operational insights into prioritized platform investments and improvement opportunities. This role identifies and mitigates platform risks, guides lifecycle decisions, and ensures on-market learnings inform future product designs, roadmaps, and business strategies.
Operating in a highly matrixed environment, the ideal candidate is a strong technical leader with exceptional influence, systems thinking, and decision-making skills. The candidate must independently lead complex initiatives, align diverse stakeholders, balance technical and business tradeoffs, and drive measurable improvements in platform performance throughout the product lifecycle.
