Design and build a zero-trust cybersecurity product within the world's largest cloud security platform, owning issues from customer diagnosis through resolution.
We are looking for a Senior Staff Software Development Engineer to join our team. This is a hybrid role based in Bangalore, reporting to the Senior Manager in the Engineering department. You’ll collaborate with a diverse team of engineers to design, build, and deliver an innovative zero-trust cybersecurity product as part of the world’s largest cloud security platform. You will bring your vision and passion to our team of experts who are enabling organizations worldwide to harness speed and agility with a cloud-first strategy.
What you’ll do (Role Expectations)
- Partnering with Product Management to drive detailed product requirements
- Defining software design specifications and implementing bug free code using test driven methodology
- Looking for opportunities to refactor existing code in the interests of maintainability and reusability
- Collaborating closely with other cross functional engineering teams (security, UI, platform, analytics and quality assurance)
- Diagnosing complex customer issues and take ownership of issue resolution
