Smart Repair Technician

Work from a fully equipped mobile repair van on smart repairs for customers at home or work and across Perrys' Kent dealerships, with pay of £42,000–£50,000 and Monday–Friday hours.
Mobile Smart Repair Technician | Kent Region
Our dealerships in the Kent region are:
- Perrys Broadstairs
- Perrys Canterbury
- Perrys Dover
- Perrys Sittingbourne
Excellent Salary & Bonus Scheme:
- £42,000 – £50,000 +
- Most of our Smart Repair Technicians earn over £50,000 per year
Working hours:
- Monday to Friday
- No Saturdays needed – unless you want overtime
- We can be flexible with the hours you choose to work
What you’ll be doing:
- Working from a fully equipped mobile repair vehicle
- Smart repairs on customer vehicles at their home or work locations
- Smart repairs on stock vehicles across our regional dealerships
Your work will include:
- Paintwork and cosmetic repairs
- Minor bodywork and bumper repairs
- Scratches, scuffs and chips
- Alloy wheel and trim repairs
- Minor dent and cosmetic damage repairs
- Plastic and trim repairs
- Other SMART repair techniques as required
About you:
We are looking for an experienced and motivated SMART Repair Technician who takes pride in their work and is confident working independently.
You will ideally have:
- Proven experience in SMART repair, body repair, paint or a related automotive repair environment
- Strong technical skills and the ability to accurately assess and repair minor cosmetic damage
- Experience using SMART repair tools, equipment and materials
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering a high-quality finish
- The ability to work independently and manage your own workload effectively
- Good communication and customer service skills
- A professional approach when dealing with customers and dealership teams
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities
- A good understanding of health and safety requirements
- A full, valid UK driving licence
