Key job responsibilities Design, develop, and optimize device OS frameworks and system services that power connectivity on Amazon devices, including cellular, location, and related wireless experiences. You'll own software on the application processor side, from platform APIs and system services down to the interfaces with modem and hardware components, and deliver reliable, power-efficient experiences across many devices.

• Architect and implement core framework components and system services for voice, data, messaging, and connectivity features, along with newer capabilities such as Wi-Fi calling, eSIM provisioning, and 5G.
• Optimize performance, reliability, and power efficiency, including latency, resource usage, and behavior across diverse networks and device configurations.
• Partner with product management to translate customer experience goals into technical designs and implementation.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with OS platform, hardware, QA, and cloud services teams to deliver features end to end.
• Lead and participate in design reviews, take ownership of critical architectural decisions, and drive resolution of complex technical issues.
