Software Engineering Team Manager

Big Ideas. Real People.

At Orca, in the right environment and with the right team, talent has no boundaries. This team spirit, together with our drive to always aim high, has quickly earned us unicorn status and turned us into a global cloud security innovation leader. So if you’re ready to join an amazing team of people who inspire each other every day, now is the time to find your place in our pod.

We’re looking for driven and talented people like you to join our Engineering team and our mission to change the future of cloud security. Ready to dive in and swim with our pod?

• Disruptive innovation: Our founders saw that traditional security didn’t work for the cloud so they set out to carve a new path. We’re relentless pioneers who invented agentless technology and continue to be the most comprehensive and innovative cloud security company.

As a Team Manager on the Orchestrator team, you'll lead one of Orca's most strategic engineering teams, responsible for the scan pipeline end to end, from trigger to published results. The orchestration layer this team owns sits on the critical path of the entire product, and every scan Orca runs goes through it.

The platform is large-scale, distributed and always on, running across all of Orca's production sites worldwide, including regulated and customer-hosted environments. It is a demanding distributed-systems domain, where throughput, resilience and cloud efficiency are permanent engineering concerns rather than one-off projects.

You'll lead a team of talented senior engineers, providing both technical and people leadership while staying hands-on in design and implementation. You'll drive key architectural decisions, lead the platform's move to its next-generation architecture, and evolve it for higher scale, stronger resilience and deeper visibility into every job in flight.

We're looking for an experienced Team Leader who wants to make a foundational impact on the engine that powers Orca's cloud security platform.
