Own key parts of the monthly close and reconciliations at AppLovin, with direct visibility into the broader finance organization and work with US auditors on quarterly reviews and the annual audit.
AppLovin is looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our US accounting team. You'll own key parts of the monthly close cycle, ensure accurate financial reporting, and help build the processes that support AppLovin's continued growth. This is a high-visibility role with direct exposure to the broader finance organization.
- Own and execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities including journal entries, accruals, and reclassifications
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accounts are properly supported on a timely basis
- Support accounting and reporting activities across areas such leases, intangibles, corporate accounting, and other general accounting functions, depending on business needs.
- Prepare and review financial schedules for management reporting and external audit support
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency of the close
- Collaborate cross-functionally with FP&A, Tax, Legal, and business partners to ensure completeness of accounting
- Support US external auditors during quarterly reviews and the annual audit
- Assist with technical accounting research and documentation as needed
