Sr. Energy Tech Program Manager

Do you have a background in electrical power systems and working with operations or program management teams? Are you excited to work on the world’s largest cloud computing infrastructure? In this role, you will own a global program to design and build power infrastructure that meets the highest bar for reliability and robustness, including reporting on reliability metrics across AWS’s global footprint.

You will engage with electric utilities across AWS’s global footprint to specify and contribute to the design of reliable transmission and distribution power infrastructure. You will manage multiple projects and evaluate the impacts of design considerations in medium and high voltage electric systems on existing and future data center operations.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong electrical engineering background, coupled with experience in data center program management. They will have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the skill-set to successfully lead complex projects with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders. By establishing and growing business and technical relationships, and managing the day-to-day interactions with these partners, this candidate will be responsible for ensuring the critical electrical infrastructure that serves AWS meets the highest standard for reliability and availability.
