Sr Rewind Operator (2nd Shift)

The Sr. Rewind Operator will be primarily responsible for set-up, run, cleaning, and general maintenance of rewind equipment on-site 2nd shift is 4x10hrs – Monday thru Thursday 2:30pm to 1:00am. This position is also able to operate table top rewind, desktop rewind and Label Applicator equipment (set-up, clean, and general maintenance) and, when needed assist with Package Assembler duties.

Responsibilities:

• Verify through work orders that job processes, spec sheets, samples, proofs and drawings are correct before production run
• Maintain quality standards by checking registration, for debris and overall quality
• Use digital instruments and measuring devices to collect and record continuous accurate SPC data
• Troubleshoot and solve machine related problems such as tension, pressure, settings and web-breaks
• Detail-oriented, deadline driven, self-directed and organized individual
• Serve as a mentor for less experienced Rewind Operators
• Support new product development efforts
• Ensure a clean, healthy, and safe work environment
• Perform basic math functions as related to rewind operations
• Performs other duties and may participate in special projects as assigned
