Strategic Initiatives and Government Operations Manager

Crusoe is a vertically integrated AI infrastructure company. Crusoe sources power, manufactures modular data centers, builds hyperscale campuses, and operates its own cloud. Our ability to execute across this stack of capabilities requires Crusoe to coordinate closely with a diverse set of stakeholders: governments, utilities, customers, communities, and other local stakeholders. Every development requires Crusoe to navigate a unique set of permitting, energy, tax, workforce, logistics, environmental and other considerations that collectively earn the local and commercial trust needed to move forward. Our approach to navigating these considerations shapes both our cost structure and our differentiation vis-a-vis competitors. Our ability to treat and understand each of these stakeholders as unique collaborators, while operating at increasing scale is critical to Crusoe’s ongoing growth and approach.

As policy and regulation related to AI-infrastructure continues to evolve, our approach must constantly adapt with it. A county, state or country may rewrite its incentives or regulations, a utility commission may change tariff structures, a federal agency may issue a new program, or a community may raise new concerns about AI-infrastructure. Our team has to see these changes, understand what they mean for the business, develop an approach that addresses the problem, and help the broader organization act.

The Strategic Initiatives and Government Operations role will turn policy, regulatory, and community realities into business decisions and policies that improve the communities in which we operate, while making Crusoe the preferred AI-infrastructure provider for our partners, customers, communities, and regulators. We ensure Crusoe's growth is both profitable and differentiated, and that our business delivers real social and environmental value wherever possible.
