What does the team work on?

At Roku, the Technical Operations team is the platform's first line of defense — a global, around-the-clock organization responsible for the health and stability of the Roku Channel and the systems that power it. With engineers across the US, Canada, Mexico, and India, TechOps monitors ad delivery, CDN infrastructure, live feeds, and content pipelines 24/7, triaging and resolving issues before they reach viewers. The team sits at the intersection of Engineering, Content Operations, Live Operations, and Advertising — owning escalation paths, SLA frameworks, and high-visibility launch support.

Beyond incident response, TechOps invests in automation and tooling to reduce toil and scale with the platform. As Roku's ecosystem grows, we're building smarter operations to match. The platform never sleeps, and neither do we!
