Work in this class primarily involves the operation of standard hand tools, power equipment, vehicles, and heavy equipment utilized in the preventative maintenance, repair, and construction of roads and roadside features for the State’s highway and roadway systems. Other duties include inspecting, ensuring work zone safety, and participating in snow & ice removal.
