This is an extended posting through April 30, 2027 for Transportation Worker I positions in Division 4. Multiple Transportation Worker I positions will be filled from this posting.
Work in this class primarily involves the operation of standard hand tools, power equipment, vehicles, and heavy equipment utilized in the preventative maintenance, repair, and construction of roads and roadside features for the State’s highway and roadway systems. Other duties include inspecting, ensuring work zone safety, and participating in snow & ice removal.
