ECV invests primarily at the Seed+ / Series A level. The firm leads rounds, takes board seats and is extraordinarily active in supporting its portfolio companies. This support spans all areas that any individual portfolio company may need, E.G. – recruiting, strategy, fund raising, sales, business development, product, finance and team building, in addition to management coaching, mentoring and advising. ECV is also happy to syndicate with other strong investors. The firm is very active promoting and advocating the proliferation of green molecules® innovation across the broader energy industry.

Energy Capital Ventures®is managed by a team of top-performing VCs and leading career long investment bankers from the energy industry. The firm is investing out of its recently closed second fund. 70% of the investment portfolio will be in North America, with an ability to invest up to 30% internationally.
