Additive Post Processing Technician I, First Shift

The Powder Bed Fusion manufacturing team develops, creates, and operates the most advanced additive manufacturing technologies in the world. T h e Powder-Based manufacturing team was crucial to manufacturing Aeon-1 for first launch and now are developing and demonstrating groundbreaking technologies, design, and approaches for Aeon-R!

This is a first-shift position with a standard schedule of Monday through Friday, 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. PT. The role is structured around a 50-hour workweek, including 10 guaranteed overtime hours each week.

• Operate De-powdering Machinery, Wire EDM’s, and Vacuum Heat-Treating Furnaces
• Deburr, Remove Supports, and Surface Prep PBF Printed Hardware
• Inspect parts for dimensional accuracy, defects, surface quality, and perform necessary rework
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of work performed
• Collaborate with Engineering and Team to develop and implement new post processing operations
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines ensuring a safe work environment
• High School Diploma or GED
• 2+ Years Experience in PBF Post-Processing or other Additive Manufacturing technologies
• Proficient in operating post-processing equipment such as De-powdering Machinery, Wire EDM’s, Vacuum Heat-Treating Furnaces, and a solid understanding in various post-processing techniques
• Strong attention to detail and ability to consistently produce high-quality parts. Experienced in inspecting PBF Parts for defections and dimensional accuracy
• Ability to interpret technical documents and maintain accurate records
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues related to post-processing
