Help customers close timing and reach tape-out on some of the most complex chips being built today, while shaping PrimeTime and PrimePower releases through your customer feedback.

We Are Synopsys is the leader in engineering solutions from silicon to systems, enabling customers to rapidly innovate AI-powered products. We deliver industry-leading silicon design, IP, simulation and analysis solutions, and design services. We partner closely with our customers across a wide range of industries to maximize their R&D capability and productivity, powering innovation today that ignites the ingenuity of tomorrow.

You Are You have spent years living in the space between what a tool can do and what a customer actually needs it to do, and you know that gap is where the real work happens. Tape-out deadlines do not wait for perfect solutions, so you have learned to diagnose fast, propose smart workarounds, and escalate with enough context that R&D can actually act on what you send them. You are the kind of engineer who can look at a timing violation and know whether it is a tool issue, a methodology problem, or something the customer set up wrong three weeks ago. You do not just answer questions, you ask better ones. When a customer says 'it's not working,' you dig until you understand what they were trying to do, what they expected, and where the disconnect actually is. Working across time zones does not faze you. Neither does explaining the same concept three different ways until it clicks. You have built credibility with customers because you show up prepared, you follow through, and when you do not know something, you say so and then go find out. At Synopsys, you will work on tools that close timing, power, and signal integrity for some of the most complex chips being built today, and the customers you support will depend on you to help them get to tape-out.
