Assistant General Counsel, Real Estate

AMD and its customers are building the compute backbone of the AI era, and our Legal team sits at the center of that expansion. We are seeking a Senior Corporate Counsel to join AMD's in-house real estate legal team and lead the legal work behind our most complex data center, infrastructure, energy, and related financing transactions.

In this high-impact role you will help AMD and its customers acquire, and finance the data center facilities that fuel our AI and high-performance computing roadmap, working shoulder to shoulder with our Corporate Strategy and Capital Markets teams as well as Real Estate and Facilities, Engineering, Finance, and Treasury stakeholders. You will own sophisticated, time-sensitive deals end to end, from initial site diligence and power procurement through negotiating the project finance and structured transactions that fund them.

You are a pragmatic, business-minded lawyer who thrives on complex, high-stakes transactions and enjoys being the go-to advisor for a fast-moving infrastructure team. You bring hands-on experience with large data center and infrastructure deals and the energy arrangements that power them, and you are equally comfortable negotiating sophisticated legal terms, technical power and utility requirements, and the credit support and financing structures behind a deal.
