Customer Support Engineer - PCB manufacturing-up to 60% travel

Travel extensively across a customer base to deliver field diagnostics and maintenance on high-precision PCB manufacturing systems.
Travel required to support the customer base as required. Estimated travel is 50-60%.
US Citizenship required by our customers.
Primary Function: Responsible to provide elite support services to KLA PCB Territory customers, ensuring all Orbotech systems perform accurately, enabling high customer happiness and perception of the value of services received. Reports directly to the assigned District Manager. Skill Requirements: Candidates should have a solid background in electronics, mechanical engineering, vacuum technology, and basic knowledge Printed Circuit Board technologies
- Work to solve and diagnose Pneumatic, Vacuum, Electronic (AC and DC), and Computer issues to the component level.
- Must have solid understanding of WinNT, Win XP, Win7 & 10, Linux, as well as MS Office products.
- Excellent communication and customer interfacing skills.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- An adaptable approach to working hours, locations, and conditions.
- A flexible approach to work responsibilities, enabling both independent and team working.
- Ability to work alone or unsupervised for extended period, often in difficult conditions.
- A detailed and logical approach to problem solving.
- Extensive travel required to support the customer as the need arise.
Principal Duties/Responsibilities:
- Provide service support to customers encompassing system commissioning, system breakdown repairs, and preventative maintenance support.
- Generate a close working relationship with the customers to enable the company to sell its product portfolio.
- Accurate completion of all field reports.
- Represent KLA Company culture and values in a respectable manner.
Requirements:
- Work autonomously
- Lifting 50 lbs. frequently, which occasionally may be lifting material over your head
- Bend from the waist
- Lift items overhead safely
Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Level Degree or related work experience of 2 years
Total Rewards Base Pay Range: $29.19 - $49.62 Per Hour Primary Location: USA-TX-Austin-KLA
