Summary of Role: Support the Silicon Photonics modeling team in the development of best-in-class compact models for a wide range of optical and electro-optical devices. The intern will contribute to device characterization, model parameter extraction, compact model coding, and workflow automation.
Essential Responsibilities include:
- Assist in the design and physical layout of silicon photonics device characterization structures.
- Assist in the development of scripts to perform model parameter extraction from characterization results.
- Assist in the development and coding of compact device models using Verilog-A.
- Develop automation flows and scripts for repetitive characterization, modeling, and data analysis tasks.
Other Responsibilities:
- Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.
