Electronic Design Automation Winter/Spring Co-Op (Jan-June '27)

Skyworks is seeking a Winter / Spring (Approx Jan - June 2027) co-op with a EM (Electromagnetics) background AND programming skills to develop an agentic AI flow to automate EM simulation for its industry-leading wireless Multi-Chip Module (MCM) design. In this role, you will focus on design export from one EDA tool and import to another tool using scripting language and AI. Through interactions with experienced engineers and learning from them, you gain hands-on experience of the flow and EDA tools involved and make contributions. This experience will give you an advantage in your future career in the industry.

Develop an agentic AI flow to automate EM simulations of MCM design with seamless integration of EM models. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design teams and EDA tool vendors. Enhance the existing flows using your knowledge and creativity.

Required Experience and Skills

In a MSEE program with focus on EM or BSEE with CE/CS as the second major.

Solid EE background and AI experience. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Perl, Linux Shell Scripts. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to details. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
