Overview The Engineering Technical Writer is responsible for developing clear, accurate, and usable technical documentation to support manufacturing and assembly operations. This role works closely with design engineers, manufacturing engineers, and technicians to translate engineering drawings, SolidWorks models, and hands-on build knowledge into effective assembly build instructions, work instructions, and manufacturing documentation for use on the production floor. Key Responsibilities Review and interpret engineering drawings, SolidWorks models, Bill of Materials (BOMs), and specifications to understand product design and assembly intent. Collaborate closely with technicians and manufacturing engineers to capture best practices, assembly sequences, tooling requirements, and critical quality checkpoints.
