Field Application Engineer

Act as the technical partner to customers across EMEA for power semiconductor design-ins, from early concept through validation and production, with 50-60% travel.
We are looking for an experienced Field Application Engineer to support our Energy & Industrial Infrastructure (EII) business across EMEA. In this role, you will act as a technical partner to customers and the regional Sales team, helping identify the right technologies, solve application challenges, and support successful product design-ins from the early concept stage through validation and production. You will collaborate closely with Sales, Product Management, R&D, Quality, and other engineering teams to develop customer solutions, support new business opportunities, and share market and application insights. This role is ideal for an engineer with a strong background in power semiconductors who enjoys solving technical challenges, working directly with customers, and learning across a broad portfolio of technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to customers throughout the application development and design-in process.
- Analyze customer requirements and recommend appropriate technical solutions, working with internal product and engineering specialists.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and support laboratory testing, validation, and investigation of application-related problems.
- Partner with Sales to identify technical opportunities and support design wins in strategic customer projects.
- Deliver technical presentations, workshops, and product training for customers and distribution partners.
- Collaborate with Product Management, R&D, and Quality to communicate customer needs and contribute to product and technology development.
- Monitor technical opportunities, support customer follow-up, and share application knowledge across the EMEA organization.
- Travel across EMEA to support customer projects, technical meetings, and training activities.
