Job Description: Reporting to: Europe Controller
We are transforming Finance at MPS. We are looking for candidates who can help us build the future. We are investing in the systems, data, and automation that will allow us to scale the business. We are looking to grow our team with true builders that have an entrepreneurial mindset. This role will be part of the foundation team that is designing, building, and implementing systems and automated workflows across Finance. At MPS systems and automation are not separate from the business, so this role will play a critical part in supporting FP&A activities through the lens of enabling speed and efficiency. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, comfortable operating with ambiguity, and energized by building things that don't yet exist.
The Finance Analyst reports to Europe Controller and will be based in Barcelona, Spain.
Key Responsibilities
Systems & Automation (Primary Focus)
- Design, build, and scale automated workflows and system integrations that reduce manual effort across Finance processes (close, reporting, forecasting, reconciliations).
- Own the roadmap for automation opportunities. Identify high-friction manual processes, prototype solutions, and drive them to production.
- Build and maintain ETL pipelines, dashboards, and analytics infrastructure from ingestion through analysis.
- Serve as a Center of Excellence for Finance's core systems (e.g., Databricks, Power BI, ERP/IFS Cloud), providing technical guidance and troubleshooting support to the broader team.
- Evaluate and pilot emerging tools, including AI/LLM-based workflows, to further automate and scale Finance operations.
- Maintain system and process documentation and ensure data governance standards are followed.
