The impact you’ll make

Lam Research is seeking an Information Security Engineer to support the engineering, implementation, and ongoing operation of enterprise security platforms. This role is responsible for maintaining and improving security tools to strengthen the organization's detection, prevention, and response capabilities. The engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Security Operations, Infrastructure, and IT, to ensure tools are effectively deployed, configured, and aligned with security standards.

What you’ll do

• Support the engineering, implementation, and lifecycle management of assigned security tools and platforms. Silverfort experience is preferred.
• Maintain and optimize tool configurations in alignment with security standards and industry best practices.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of detection, prevention, and response capabilities.
• Assist in identifying and remediating configuration gaps, coverage issues, and security findings.
• Participate in security reviews and provide input on architecture and design decisions.
• Support the development of operational metrics and reporting to track tool effectiveness and security posture.
• Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., SOC, IT, Cloud, and Infrastructure) to drive alignment and integration.
• Document processes, configurations, and standard operating procedures.
