Manufacturing Design Engineering (Systems)

Group/Division KLA has manufacturing sites worldwide. The Global Operations (GOPS) team, comprised of Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Installation and Quality, builds our leading-edge technology. GOPS partners with KLA's global supply base and design engineering teams to develop new products, working continuously to build better, faster and more cost-efficient solutions.
- Partner with Design Engineering to industrialize new products (NPI) and support manufacturing ramp.
- Drive product development and manufacturing readiness reviews.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex system-level manufacturing issues.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for production and field issues.
- Develop and maintain assembly documentation, work instructions, and ECO implementation plans.
- Support supplier quality improvement and resolution of component-related issues.
- Drive manufacturing process optimization, standardization, and cycle time improvements.
- Provide technical support to production to ensure on-time shipment and product quality.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Physics, or related disciplines.
- 3+ years of manufacturing, systems engineering, NPI, or product support experience.
- Strong understanding of system integration, precision electromechanical assemblies, and complex equipment.
- Experience in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and test data.
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
